I’m just going to leave this here… (also YIPPEE!! This acknowledgement came just as I was doubting the choice I made to throw myself into writing. As anyone who is a writer, attempted being a writer or even considered being a writer knows, it can be really tough. Lot’s of rejections with just a brief no thanks and no helpful, ‘and here’s why…’ And most of the time, no anything at all. Just radio silence. So this Highly Commended felt like a grand prize, confetti-cannons-exploding, champagne-spraying-in-the-air type win.)
