Lindsay Fletcher was born and raised in Perth Western Australia, with a few side-steps over to Melbourne and across to London.
Her professional background is in advertising and marketing – but please don’t hold that against her. Lindsay has had much experience in writing copy for clients and public speaking (but we won’t bore you with that stuff).
In fact, quite a few of Lindsay’s old schoolteachers commented she was quite the Extrovert. Lindsay thinks an Extroverted Introvert might be more correct but, who is Lindsay to argue with a teacher?
Having three young children, and being a child once herself, Lindsay has always had a great love of children’s books, both reading and writing them.
In 2019, Lindsay put on her big girl’s pants and completed the Australian Writers Centre course in writing picture books. Lindsay likes writing chucklesome stories, with a bit of heart. And sometimes, just sometimes there is even a little lesson or two thrown in for fun.
Lindsay still lives in Perth, with her very tall husband, three little kids and very handsome, but not very bright dog, Atticus Finch.
